To Thanassis' family, friends and everyone whose lives he touched: I am heartbroken to know we’ll never see Thanassis again. I counted him among my very dearest friends. I consider myself so lucky to have had him in my life. To know Thanassis he was happy go lucky, carefree and had a love of life. I truly admired him. Thanassis’ compassion, generosity, kindness for others and great advice gave evidence of the wonderful person he was. His work on behalf of the Greek community, his care about our culture and his pride and patriotism demonstrated the great person he was and is a great loss to our community. All of us who knew him are better people for having had him in our lives. Thanassis may have left this earth but we’ll have him in our hearts forever.
