I HAVE KNOWN GENE FOR 59 YEARS. WE WERE CLASSMATES IN HOUSTON POLICE ACADEMY #19. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REUNITE WITH GENE AND VISIT WITH HIM AT THE HPROA REUNIONS. I WILL MISS HIM. GENE WAS A FRIEND AND A DEDICATED POLICE OFFICER.
