Looking at Michael's photographs, I could feel the wind, hear the wings, sense the silence of the space where he could get such an extraordinary shot. Seeing Michael with Nugget and Daryl and the kittens and knowing of his deep and abiding love and respect for Ginny was a reminder of his warmth, kindness, strong moral compass, generosity, and grace. Hearing stories from his friends - of many vintages, from many ports of call fill out the picture of a life well lived but a man taken from us too soon. Traveling mercies Michael.
