Sandra was one of the professor taught me when I was attending Georgia Tech. After graduation, I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to work for her at Medical College of Georgia. She was a very brilliant physicist and highly respected by many. She had been a great mentor to me and she had taught me how to be a good physicist. She was a very generous and kind person and very pleasant. She had touched many lives including mine. She will always be remembered. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family and friends.
