Just came across this obituary while doing some research. Sincere condolences... My mom, who passed away this past January at 91 in Montreal, Canada was also named Helen Gaida but was born in Ukraine very close to the Polish border. Who knows, maybe there was a distant family relationship. Again, sincere condolences on your loss...at least both the Helen Gaida's had long happy lives!
