I had the true privilege of getting to know Dan over the last eight months. He always greeted me with a strong handshake, positive outlook and infectious smile. It was during our meetings that it became abundantly clear the focus was never about him, but it was for Mary and his family. I feel so fortunate to have known Dan, even though that time was all to brief. He made such an impact with his strength and compassion. I am profoundly saddened for your loss.
