My friend

Well Doug we had a lot of good times with all your story's from when you were a kid told now, from Montana to Kingsman Arizona, and Chelan. From being a powder man, throwing dynamite at people having it roll around in your truck, blasting rocks, driving truck and running heavy equipment. Also, your days in navy on your ship the Ogden the time you spent in Vietnam. I met Doug Whe I was 6 or 8 years old he sure could make my face turn red all the time. he did welding work for us and the friendship started from there. Doug told me a lot about what he did when he was a powder man in Arizona and he loved drilling holes, setting the charges and running equipment. When I reached middle school I ask him to teach me to weld and he was way better than the teachers. I learned a whole lot from him in high school;he help me build a bumper and he would call me and ask "hey, what you doing." I would say "Nothing just sitting at home;". He say "if you come up I will buy you a dring." Well can't say no to that, we would drink and I would sit and listen to his life story's from growing up, how his dad was a welder in the army, when he lived in Montana and story's when he was in the war. They were sad he never talked about the war tell we were drinking. He invited me to elk camp when I was 16 and it was a heck of a camp and great time. We would go up before camp and cut fire wood and had to much fun. Doug you were more family to me than a friend I will miss you my friend. I hope to see you again down the road. Thank you for being there and helping me and teaching me thing I could never learn anywhere
