I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincerest condolences. The loss of a loved one to death is one of the most painful experiences that we as humans endure. The Bible teaches that even Jesus “gave way to tears” when he saw the pain that the death of his beloved friend Lazarus caused. (John 11:35) Thus, we can be sure that our Heavenly Father is more than aware of our feelings during these difficult times, and as his son, Jesus, demonstrated, he has the power and the desire to do something about it. Therefore, we can have complete confidence in the loving reassurances found at Isaiah 25:8,9 & Isaiah 26:19. In these verses, God promises that he will soon "swallow up death forever" and that our "dead shall rise". May these Bible promises give you a measure of comfort and assure you of God's deep love for you and your family.
