The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kasie Del Otero can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I used to work at Franklin Avenue Middle School in a self contained classroom for children with autism. My students would have lunch and recess with the mainstream students. Kasie was probably the kindest child in that whole middle school. She went out of her way to include our students and make them feel like all the other kids. She would eat lunch with some of them and talk to them and be a friend to them. She would hang out with them at recess. No one asked her to, no one told her to do this. It was just who she was. She was a beautiful soul. My heart breaks for all of those who knew this special girl. My love and prayers to your family.
