The Bucket List
It was the beginning of May in 2015, and Kasie came up with this idea to make an official bucket list. We gathered supplies, and Kasie was so excited. You could see it in her face, as she had a huge smile on and was spilling out creative ideas. Some ideas, like "Pulling a Complete All Nighter," seemed absolutely insane, but Kasie was determined. On my birthday in July of 2015, we actually accomplished this, along with four other items we had on the list. In the end, we ended up accomplishing more than half of the items we had listed. If we did not have Kasie by our side, we would have definitely fallen short, and probably not even have the bucket list, to begin with. The memories that were made between Kasie and me because of this piece of paper are truly endless, and we had countless laughs and precious moments. I hope we can all learn and aspire to be someone like Kasie: brave, determined, creative, and genuine. Not just today or tomorrow, but throughout our lives.
