Condolence: I just learned of John's death two years ago. I met him in the business world, as a banker, and admired his world-view and compassionate nature. He was a very good person.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was one of the most interesting people I have had the pleasure of getting to know in the area. I alway's learned something new when talking to him. He always had such interesting stories and experiences to share and seemed to be sincerely interested in knowing how I felt about things.
I am honored to live in the home he built over 20 years ago on Lonely Cottage Rd.. Just one of many things and interests we shared. He will be missed......

Condolence: i still cant believe you are gone,i miss you so much!! my uncle came over from germany about nine years ago,john took us all out to dinner,john and my uncle george hit it off,john gave my uncle a job,then my uncle got ill and went back to germany. john married me and my husband back in 2003,we have been to his house for a turkey shoot,and he has been to my house for many dinners,i will never forget the one time we were at his house and he was cutting his chest hairs i said john what are you doing? he said im making flies for fishing.since i have known him i have talked to him about my problems and he was allways there for me!!! i wish that he would have come to me!!! i will miss you dearly!!

Condolence: My condolences to the Crossley family. Although we lost touch many many years ago, John was my best friend when we lived only a block apart in Doylestown. John on Oakland Street and I on Ashland Street. We spent many days together exploring Doylestown on our bicycles, or walking together to and from elementary school. Rest in Peace my friend.

Condolence: Thank you John for enriching my life with your kindness and generosity.You were a rare soul ,the likes of which we won't soon see again.Your tales of your humanitarian exploits behind the iron curtain and your awesome songs and beautiful voice will stick with me forever.i'll miss you papa bear rest peacefully .

Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. John and I were classmates at CB High School and since I had just moved into the area for my Senior year, John was very kind to me and helped me get used to the school and classes that were three times the size I came from.
I would have attended the memorial service but I work second shift and am unable to be there.

Condolence: John will be greatly missed I had the opportunity to meet and talk to him on many occasions starting back in the early 80's he was a kind and generous man and a great innovator. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
