We were saddened to hear that George had passed away. He was such a character and good friends with my dad, Bill Wingert. We had several occasions to play bridge with George and it was obviously one of his passions. He would always claim to never get any good cards and then ambush you when you tried to play declarer. I will miss the sparkle in his eye when he had a good round. My condolences to his family - I know he will be missed. Regrets on not being able to make it there for the service.
