Mrs. Zimmerman was on of the best teachers I ever had. I didn’t know it at the time in the late 1970's as a fourth grade student, but I do now. She taught me a lot that I still use today. One of the best things I recall was her giving the class assignments to make lists of different items; fish or a list of volcanos. She always cheered us on and made us give our best effort. I was, like many, fortunate to have had her as a teacher and person in my life. Rest in peace.
