Our son Grant alerted us to the passing of one of his most beloved teachers. His 4th grade at Pawnee School was the beginning of his love for library and research, for history and writing. He's now writing for the Portland Oregonian newspaper. We honor her memory for the patience, humor, and love of learning her teaching inspired.
