Sending sympathy, condolences and care to all who knew and loved Joanne. Especially to Matty, as he was known when I met him so many years ago now. Joanne and I competed for the same position at a company in Rochester in the early 80s. We both ended up working there (in different positions) and becoming friends. I moved away after almost 7 years and came way out west but... tho distance separated us, to our credit :) we never lost touch. Christmas cards mostly, and the occasional phone call or email. Oh, how I admired (and still do) that beautiful woman's strength, courage and tenacity. Wishing Joanne peace, free of earthly discomfort and hoping for comfort for her loved ones; strength from the warm memories you shared with a woman I was very fortunate to know. ❤
