My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Rob Salyer. I had the pleasure of graduating High School with Rob and then we rode "the bus" to SVCC together and then he went on to teach both of my children at Watauga Elementary School. I always enjoyed our talks on the bus to and from college or the car rider line while picking my girls up after school. He had so much passion for everything in life to include Civil war history, music, diet and exercise and to fight the biggest battle of his life- cancer. May he rest in peace.
