Had the priveledge of knowing and working with Arlie for only a few years at the Polk County Historical Society. He had many adventures and enjoyed sharihg his knowledge and experiences in an engaging manner. He generously gave of his time and skills to help anyone who wanted to learn about the past in this area and in the areas where he had traveled. I now treasure the historical materials he gave me even more, because they remind me of him!
