This Book of Memories memorial website is designed to be a permanent tribute paying tribute to the life and memory of Bruce Campbell. It allows family and friends a place to re-visit, interact with each other, share and enhance this tribute for future generations. I became friends with Bruce through our wives, Georgie and Mavis, who worked together for many years. I remember parties in Campbell's garage in Saskatoon. Bruce prepared all the food including his famous spicy beans. He loved to served up drinks and food and just sit back and observe everyone. Bruce was a great listener and believed everyone had a story to tell. He was a shrewd judge of character and accepted everyone for who they were. We all went to Newfoundland for the girls to attend a meeting. Bruce and I explored George Street, with Bruce listening to stories and buying lunch for the regulars who were down on their luck. In the last few years Bruce's health deteriorated, but he always supported Mavis in her sports and hiking trips with Georgie. Mavis, he will be by your side even now, waiting to hear about your travels, and keeping the home fires burning. Take care.
