I was very saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. My time working with Bruce at Rockwood Institution was the most enjoyable time of my career. I have so many great memories about Bruce but one that stands out and I will never forget was Employee Assistance Week or some type of Employee Recognition week. We had hired a hypnotist to come to the Institution and Bruce allowed himself to be hypnotized much to the chagrin of all of his staff. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life. I remember thinking what a good sport he was to do that in front of everyone, so we could all enjoy it. All of the staff worked so hard for him and he made the workplace exceptional. Bruce was a salt of the earth guy, very unpretentious, kind, smart, and funny. One of the best leaders I have ever seen. My deepest condolences to you Mavis and all of your families. He will be missed by so many of us.
