It was my privilege to know Ellen over the last fifteen or so years. She touched the lives of my family members here in Ashland through her generous spirit. One thing Ellen was really concerned about last month was about her family stories being passed down to the next generation. There are photos in her home that she wanted to start sharing with her niece. Since she mentioned these things to me I thought I should pass on.
