Beth Noterman
Dear Zitoli family,
None of this is probably news to you, but hopefully the slightest comfort.
I knew that I'd love working with Gerry from the first day that I met him. He was very decisive, but also a very good listener and would consider any facts contributed, from anyone willing to speak up, before stating his position. He didn't pretend to have all of the answers, but it was obvious that he knew most everything anyway. He truly cared about his work and was always invested in finding the best outcome.
He was direct, genuine, intelligent, articulate and funny. He was a leader.
I will especially miss meeting him at our parking spots in the THP garage, which were across the aisle from each other. We "claimed" the spots years ago as we arrived in the very early morning. After reading the obituary, I know that it won't surprise the family to learn that he carefully backed into his spot every day and that it was directly next to the exit - I just did not realize that this was zombie apocalypse prep until this week.
Gerry's time was far too short and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
